Hershal was a good friend all the way through school.  It turned out that he and my wife were cousins and grew up near each other on Stone Road.  He was an usher in our wedding.  We visited while he was still with RJR and living in Lexington.  Sort of lost touch when he moved to Booneville to help care for his dad.  Then spent some time with him at the 40th reunion.  We knew he was not well; but did not hear of his passing until months after the fact.  GOD SPEED, HERSHAL!

Why on earth would I have a dream out of the blue about Hershal last nite.....it was soooo vivid it prompted me to come visit this site because I couldn't remember if he was at our reunion or not.  In the dream he had been sick but was up to conversation and appeared to be very alone.   I remember him for his sweet smile and he was just a good guy.  Thanks for this site it  is very informative.
