 CURRY Robert Allen, 68, the husband of Sharon Robertson Curry, died Friday, October 5, 2012. He was born January 7, 1944 in Lexington, Kentucky to Vera Curry Travis and the late John Curry. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Angel (Keenan) Franklin and Karen (Robert) Loeffler; sisters, Sharon Schilling, Phyllis (John) Surgener and Joyce (Irv) Peck; brothers, Wayne (Shirley) Curry and Billy Curry; and grandchildren, Brooke and Heather Franklin and Forrest and Hannah Loeffler; Nieces and Nephews: Cindy, Amy, Laura, Janelle, Jason, Kelly, Laurie, Beth, Joyce, Maya, and Shane. He was retired from IBM; a regular at Toby's; longtime Thursday Night Rider; pit man for Mike Wells Racing and the Kentucky Wrecking Crew; and a STX Rain Rider. A Memorial Service will be 6pm, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating, followed by a Gathering of Family and Friends from 6:30-8:30pm.
